White Lotus Farms youth classes give kids a chance to be loving stewards of our goat herd and get their hands dirty with sustainable farming practices. Participants learn fun facts about our milking goats and goat kids, the science of milk and cheesemaking and the importance of holistic relationships on the farm with healthy soil, beneficial insects and pollinators and conservation of natural resources.

The junior farmer program is for kids ages 9-14. Classes are 2 hours, from 1:30-3:30 pm, and the cost is $45.

Kids should bring a water bottle, wear sunscreen, appropriate clothing for the weather, and shoes or boots that can get dirty.

Our Junior Farmer classes are broken down by the season, with the same class two months in a row.
